SHORT NOTICE ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Company commercially known with the mark WALLY was born in the first postwar period. Estabished in august 27th 1925 by Mr. Mario Zaina, grandfather of the current owner, the Company takes its first steps in Milan. Situated in a shed equipped with machines for manufacturing products in the hardware sector, such as cylinders and locks, it was the first italian factory of american locks. At first products were branded with two marks, WALLY and MZM (the founder's acronym). In the period between the two world wars, the Company consolidates and gains importance in the Italian market, but it is in the '50s that Wally marked a turning point in its evolution capturing important foreign markets for wich WALLY trademark became a sign of innovation and, above all, of MADE IN ITALY quality. Indeed in 1950 the etrepreneur Mr. Ambrogio Zaina built a new factory in Castelletto di Senago, near Milan, where, since then, Wally settled definitely eliminating the MZM trademark.
At present the Society boasts a well-estabilished presence in the italian and foreign market, with products that still now represent a milestone in the hardware field, working with a widespread distribution net. Within its costumers there are retailers, wholesalers, users and industries, costantly followed by a team of agents responsible for the area.
Specialized in cylinders and padlocks with masterkeys and keyed alike, for years it has been contacted for particular manufacturing on quality cylinders and padlocks. Since 2000 the society has partnered the traditional mark which signs italian products with a new trademark STARLY which commercialises low-priced products but always with a guarantee of security and quality.
